— “They destroyed my house and told me that I was no longer their son.” These are the words that “A” shared with us sitting in the shade of an East African country. But even as he told me of his muslim family disowning him for becoming a follower of Jesus, A’s voice was strong. He had only been a Christian for a few weeks after one of The Multiply Initiative’s national partners had shared the gospel with him in a very simple way. “I have shared the 3-Circles now with some of my muslim friends. I will never go back to that empty way of life and I’m willing to even be baptized now.”

In 2024 two trainers from The Multiply Initiative traveled to South Africa for a training. Only about 10 people were able to attend. Those 10 were trained to do simple and reproducible evangelism and then sent out to share it. One young lady, felt led to share the gospel with her entire class at nursing college, About 35 students in all. A few months later one of the friends she trained to share the gospel showed the simple tool to the pastor at her church in Boksburg, South Africa and he asked her to share it at the church’s Women’s Day event to 2,500 women! What an awesome and multiplying God we serve!

John was from the Masaai tribe and working as a security guard. He had a knife and a large stick called a “rungu” as weapons. As John heard the gospel shared with him in a very simple way, large tears began to roll down his cheeks. He began to cry and sob as he heard about Jesus dying on a cross in his place and shedding his blood for his sins. John agreed that he wanted to pray right there on the side of the road in his own words and ask Jesus to forgive him and come into his life!

“After the training you did with us some have gone and started a new church plant. They have been meeting every Sunday for three weeks now!” This was the excited news from David, one of our national partners in Eastern Uganda. David was trained in H4F in 2022 and since then has led many to Christ, discipled them and started training them how to make multiplying disciples! He recently took a team of local pastors he trained and traveled to a town about 2 hours away to train 25 other Kenyan and Ugandan pastors!
